(1) Vendor needs to provide line survey program services to the government authority located in Cassopolis, MI.– Retracement survey:– Research and evaluate all available historical records, plats, notes, prior surveys, and monument records.– Recover and evaluate existing monumentation and evidence associated with each milepost and meander post.– Review previously perpetuated monument locations and determine whether additional field investigation is necessary.– Remonumentation:– Perpetuate and remonument the locations of all mileposts and posts originally established at or near lakes and larger rivers defining the state line.– Replace existing monumentation where required.
