(1) Vendor needs to provide professional engineering services to the government authority located in Buffalo, NY.• Direct the contractor to ensure conformance with the contract documents as designed and detailed or called out.• Coordinate with the Design engineer, as appropriate, to ensure that the stamped design has not been changed without approval.• Consult and advise the resident engineer and the DSM on construction matters including attendance at the preconstruction meeting.• Make regular visits to the site to observe the general progress and quality of the executed work.• Conduct progress meetings.• Complete construction forms and administrative paperwork as necessary.• Review and approve shop drawings related to the owner’s discretion, contractor’s means and methods, and administrative matters, such as progress schedules, color charts, initial submittals, and construction sequencing.• Review and approve progress payments to the contractor.• Review the manual to be prepared by the contractor.• Issue instructions to contractors as necessary, including design engineer’s interpretations and clarifications of contract documents.• Evaluate proposed change orders and negotiate and prepare final documentation for processing by the agency.• Assist the resident engineer in understanding the requirements of the plans and specifications.• Coordinate the resident engineer’s activities.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 28, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
