(1) Vendor needs to provide veterinary consultant services to the government authority located in Georgia.1. Conduct a comprehensive desk review:– Support in conducting a comprehensive desk review of veterinary protocols, training materials, historical situation reports, surveillance data, contingency plans, risk assessments, and SOPs on HPAI surveillance on wild and domestic birds.2. Develop a targeted sampling strategy:– Support the design and development of a risk–based and evidence–driven HPAI surveillance and sampling strategy for wild bird migratory commercial and backyard poultry farms, live–bird markets, and other high–risk human animal interfaces.3. Frontline mortality management training:– Training will focus content on safe carcass handling and disposal, infection prevention control, biosafety and biosecurity practices, outbreak reporting, and emergency response procedures in high–risk migratory bird regions.4. Biosafety and biosecurity assessments:– Conduct a needs assessment in up to ten large or medium sized facilities to better understand, validate, and expand upon the survey results regarding the operations of the select facilities.
