LEGAL-17989 - USA (Guttenberg, New Jersey) - Law Firms and Individuals Interested in Serving as Town Attorney Service - Deadline October 14,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide law firms and individuals interested in serving as town attorney service to the government authority located in Guttenberg, NJ. – Legal research and/or advisory opinions as needed; – Represent the Town in federal and state courts and administrative forums; – Review, analyze and advise the Town on any application before it; – Review and draft resolutions and ordinances; – Attend all meetings of the Board of Council and any other board or committee as directed; – Perform all requirements of the position of Town Attorney pursuant to the Town’s Code; – Conduct programs on various municipal issues for appropriate elected officials, Town employees, Board members or other persons upon request; – Notify the Town of changes in law or regulations, as well as Court decisions, that impact the Town and its officials; – Any other matters as directed by the appropriate Town official(s).– The Town Attorney shall not provide the following services: Rent Control Counsel, Planning and – Zoning Board Attorney, Bond Counsel, Public Defender, and Municipal Prosecutor.(2) The contract period will be one year.
