2026 Summer Flooding After Action Report

Description
In summer 2026, between June 21 and July 15, Sturgeon County experienced significant overland flooding following sustained heavy rainfall across the region. The event resulted in a range of localized and County-wide impacts, including flooded residential properties, washed-out and damaged road infrastructure, overtopping watercourses, and elevated water levels within river and lake basins. As part of this assignment, the successfully awarded proponent will conduct a comprehensive County-wide After-Action Review (AAR) of Sturgeon County’s 2026 flood response, identifying strengths, gaps, lessons learned, and interdepartmental improvement opportunities across the full emergency management cycle
