MB-10395 - USA (California) - Liability Claims Adjusting Services - Deadline October 2,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide liability claims adjusting services.– Provide strategic recommendations, maintain proactive communication, and support the county's objective of minimizing claim costs and liability exposure.– Work includes end–to–end administration of existing and new liability claims, including prompt investigations, reserve analysis, litigation management, settlement negotiations, payment processing, subrogation and recovery efforts, legal administration, claims reporting, records management, and financial oversight.– Maintaining a claims management information system with the capability to store and record file activity and generate reports.– Maintaining an effective claim electronic data security system which includes adequate access, integrity controls, financial controls and continuity for uninterrupted systems operations.– Maintain 24–hour emergency contact capability and provide a rapid and effective local response to investigate, at the accident scene, serious incidents for which the county has potential liability.– Legal administration services.– Initiate the development of information on damages including, but not limited to:1. Property damage2. Nature and extent of injuries3. Medical costs (billed and paid)4. Lost wages (past and future)5. Other economic damages6. Non–economic damages(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 4, 2026.(3) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on August 24, 2026.(4) The contract period will be for three years.
