(1) Vendor needs to provide community violence intervention (CVI) training and technical assistance services to the government authority located in Trenton, NJ.• Provide Community Violence Intervention (CVI) training and technical assistance for City–supported anti–violence personnel, including outreach workers, violence interrupters, administrative staff, and other personnel involved in community–based violence prevention and intervention activities.• Introduction to Community Violence Intervention (CVI), including the role of CVI workers, professional boundaries, and professional conduct in and outside the community;– Professionalism in community–based violence intervention work;– Identification, engagement, and relationship–building with individuals at highest risk of involvement in violence;– Listening skills and motivational interviewing techniques, including their use in developing and implementing risk–reduction plans;– Conflict mediation, conflict resolution, and techniques intended to prevent the initiation of violence or retaliatory acts;– Development of individual risk–reduction plans and strategies;– Re–entry considerations and engagement of justice–involved participants;– Self–care for CVI personnel;– Current and historical CVI strategies, models, theories, and approaches;– Strategic planning for CVI programs;– Working effectively with program participants;– Communication and coordination within a CVI team;– Detection and response to violent events and shootings;– Understanding trauma, health impacts, and coping mechanisms;– CVI data collection and the use of program information to support violence–reduction efforts; and– Working with residents, faith leaders, service providers, and other key community members through public education, responses to shootings, and neighborhood–building activities.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 24, 2026.
