REMOVE AND REPLACE INEFFICIENT WOOD BURNING DEVICES WITH NEW CLEANER OPTIONS

General work description: Washington County, Oregon is requesting the following sealed proposals for the Office of Community Development (OCD), Wood Stove Exchange Program for: • 3-4 qualified firms to remove and replace old wood burning devices with new and cleaner options in residential structures. The County anticipates (but does not guarantee) the installation of 150 stoves (wood, pellet, and gas) in total; and • 2-3 qualified contractors skilled in the installation HVAC equipment (furnaces and heat pumps). Prequalified Contractors will be asked to provide specific pricing and availability on each repair or replacement, on an “as needed basis.” The maximum term of any contract will be for five (5) years.
