(1) Vendor needs to provide physician medical director services to comprehensive clinical oversight, administrative leadership, and direct patient care to individuals incarcerated within the facility to the government authority located in Tompkins, NY.– Clinicals: Conduct regularly scheduled, on–site sick calls, physical examinations, and chronic care clinics for the incarcerated population.– MAT Program: Serve as the clinical lead for the jail’s Medication–Assisted Treatment (MAT) program for Opioid Use Disorder, including prescribing, monitoring, and protocol adjustments– Mental Health Coordination: Collaborate closely with the jail's mental health staff to coordinate care for suicide prevention, crisis intervention, and psychotropic medication management.– Nursing Supervision: Supervise county–employed nursing staff (RNs and LPNs). This includesestablishing, reviewing, and signing annual collaborative practice agreements and standing medical orders.– Utilization Management: Review and approve or deny all requests for off–site specialist referrals, nonemergency diagnostic imaging, and non–emergency hospital transfers to ensure cost containment.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 7, 2026.
