(1) Vendor needs to provide mowing and grounds maintenance services to the government authority located in Gastonia, NC.– Inspect the work area and remove ordinary litter, small limbs, rocks, and other objects that could create a mowing hazard.– Report large, hazardous, or illegally dumped material to the city before proceeding.– Mow all maintained turf at a uniform height consistent with accepted residential lawn maintenance practices.– Avoid scalping, rutting, missed strips, and mowing when soil or weather conditions would damage the turf.– String trim grass around the residence, porch, steps, fences, trees, signs, utility features, and other fixed objects to the same general height as the adjacent mowed turf.– Edge turf along sidewalks, walkways, driveway edges, curbs, and other paved borders during each service visit.– Blow or sweep grass clippings and debris from porches, steps, sidewalks, walkways, driveways, curbs, and adjacent paved surfaces on the same day.– Mower discharge, trimmer debris, and blown material must be directed away from the residence, windows, doors, people, and parked vehicles to prevent damage or injury.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 17, 2026.
