(ILBANK) has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Türkiye’s Earthquake, Floods and Wildfires Emergency Reconstruction Project (TEFWER) and allocated some part of this loan to Balkesir Metropolitan Municipality (shall be referred as Sub Borrower) for Balkesir Fire Brigade Disaster Management Vehicles Procurement Sub-Project. The Sub-Borrower intends to apply part of the proceeds of this sub-loan toward payments for “Lot 1 Procurement of 42 Meter Hydraulic Ladder Fire Truck and 20 Meter Water Foam Tower with Telescopic Boom; Lot 2 Procurement of Fire Brigade Search and Rescue Vehicle; Lot 3 Procurement of Multi-Purpose Fire Truck with A Capacity of at Least 4000 Liters and Multi-Purpose Fire Truck with a Capacity of at Least 3000 Liters; Lot 4 Procurement of Multi-Purpose Fire Truck with a Capacity of at Least 5000 Liters” (BALIKESIR-G3). Bidders may Bid for one or more Lots/contracts, as further defined in the request for bids document. Bidders are not allowed to offer discounts that are conditional for the award of more than one Contract/lot. Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” November 2020 (“Procurement Regulations”) and is open to all eligible Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations. 5. The bidding document in English may be purchased by interested Bidders upon the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of TRY 2,500.00 or € 80.00 or US$ 80.00. The fee deposited for purchasing the Bidding Documents shall by no means be returned.
