Traffic Counts on various roadways

General Escambia County Traffic Division is seeking “unit price only” quotes to perform various types of traffic counts at multiple locations as needed throughout Escambia County. Contractor/consultant will be required to perform requested traffic counts within 5-15 days of Notice to Proceed (NTP). Counts should be conducted by onsite counting methods at the time the NTP is issued for an acceptable timeframe as indicated within the individual task order. Methods may include Manual Counts, Pneumatic Tube Counters, Video Image Detection, Thermal Imaging, and Radar Detection. Tasks may include single, individual intersection analysis, roadway specific speed studies, turn lane warrants, etc. at specific locations or, much less frequently, multiple locations along specific corridors. The frequency of the study requests will be on an as needed basis and could be separated by weeks or months as needed.
