Consultant Services, On-Call Hazmat RFP

The Land Use Department at the New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC) is seeking one or more consultants or consultant teams to provide on-call hazmat and environmental services which may include, without limitation, the performance of site investigations, Phase I and II Remedial Action Plans, resident engineering services, environmental monitoring, and asbestos abatement monitoring. Services may also include the preparation of health and safety plans, site management plans, cost estimates, underground storage tank removal plans and reports, and asbestos and environmental investigation work plans and draft reports. NYCEDC welcomes firms of all levels of capacity and different specialties to submit a proposal to this RFP as a prime Consultant and anticipates the selected Consultant(s) will lead a team of consultants (collectively, with the Consultant, the Consultant Team) displaying a diversity of skill sets, technical expertise, experience, and firm size in providing all aspects of the scope of services. All RFP responses should clearly demonstrate that the Consultant Team is capable of and experienced in providing all of the Services necessary for the complete performance of the Contract, which will include tasks of varying scope and size. NYCEDC plans to select one or more Consultants based on the factors stated in the RFP which include but are not limited to: the quality of the proposal, experience of key staff identified in the proposal, experience and quality of any subcontractors proposed, demonstrated successful experience in performing services similar to those encompassed in the RFP, the proposed fee schedule, and the proposed Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise ('M/WBE) Narrative Form.
