(1) Vendor needs to provide grant consulting services to the government authority located in Middlesex, NJ.• Provide to hire a consultant to assist in the application, processing, reporting, and auditing of federal, state, and local grants.• Duties would include working with administration to clean–up previous grants which are in various levels of completion, i.e. collection of grant money already awarded; application for current grants at federal, state, and local levels; coordinate spending of grant money from various sources; and administration and record keeping of such grants, both required reporting and internal.• Research and identify potential funding sources, public grants, private foundation grants and possible local and grant requirements and criteria, matching requirements and terms and conditions of potential grant opportunities• Attendance at all meetings deemed necessary by the agency.• Conduct and facilitate responses to all grant proposals, on behalf of various agency departments, including narratives and other writing services, statistical gathering, letters of support, budgets and final submissions• Prepare written summaries of all grant reporting requirements, criteria, obligations, matching fund requirements, terms and conditions, deadlines and evaluation criteria prior to submission.• Advise agency, based on the grant management requirement of each proposal, whether the grant amount is equitable to the required grant management• Oversight of any administrative services necessary to meet grant requirements, including but not limited to ongoing reporting requirements and associated coordination with municipal staff.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
