Fall Donation Tree Planting

City of Urbana, Illinois, is seeking bids for tree planting/purchase services and bids for the provision of trees that are between 1.5”-2” caliper for its Fall 2024 planting program. In some instances, the City may purchase trees through a separate City vendor and provide those trees for planting to the Successful Bidder. Unit cost shall not be the sole determination of contract reward. Preference maybe given to vendors who can provide 2” caliper trees in conjunction with planting. The City of Urbana shall have final determination on whichever serves the best interest of the City. Trees roots shall be in form of balled/burlaped. The Successful Bidder shall furnish the City with an estimated time schedule in which to order trees for the fall season. The bid form shall include the quantities and trunk diameter at breast height (DBH) for trees available from the bid list.
