DISPOS-9527 - USA (Albion, New York) - Solid Waste Management Plan Services - Deadline December 31,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide solid waste management plan services to the government authority located in Albion, NY.– Task 1: Background and county overview:– Consultant shall conduct a comprehensive background analysis of the project and synthesize the history of solid waste management.– Demographics: Current population, historical population trends, average household size, and median age.– Housing and zoning: Total housing units, housing density, and a breakdown of single–family versus multi–family dwellings.– Economic Indicators: Median household income and poverty rates.Task 2: Project initiation and data collection:– consultant shall meet with county officials to refine the project schedule, establish communication protocols and review available data.– Consultant will collect and analyze current solid waste generation, recycling, organics recovery, disposal data.– Identifying all active municipal and private waste management facilities, haulers, transfer stations.– Analysing municipal solid waste, construction and demolition debris, industrial waste and biosolids quantities.Task 3: Evaluation of existing management systems:– The performance of existing recycling drop–off and transfer stations.– Current programs such as household hazardous waste events, electronic waste (E–Waste) drop off sites or program and paint collection events in partnership.Task 4: Needs assessment and alternative technologies:– Consultant will identify gaps in the current system and evaluate alternative technologies and management strategies.– Feasibility of implementing expanded curb side collection and recyclable in rural areas.– Strategies to enhance the diversion of food scraps, and yard waste, including community composting.– Enhance public education and outreach campaigns to decrease contamination in recycling streams.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.
