Description
Project Information: The Public Works Department is soliciting quotes for a stacking compost unit system to provide residents with an easy, entry level method for composting. This system shall be similar to a traditional “pile” aerobic composting method, while keeping the compost contained, smell free, easily manageable, and free from pests. The system shall give the ability for the compost to be cured at different stages. Additionally, the stacking unit shall be light weight, compact or vertically stacked, and easy to place near an apartment or home front door or in a small yard. It would be preferable that the system comes with the remix or cake powder to be used in the units. If the compost system does not include this, please include the additional pricing for this item.
