Description

The Escambia County Engineering Department needs to purchase this equipment for Traffic. Conflict monitors or CMUs are a critical piece of safety equipment in a traffic signal cabinet, it is required that CMUs be tested and certified annually for proper function. The switch pack or HDSP plays a critical role in the in the ATC Cabinet monitoring system. The Switch pack drives the field signal head outputs and collects load voltage and current data for each output. This data is reported to the conflict monitor or CMU. The CMU test equipment is vital to limit liability in the event of traffic crashes.
