(1) Vendor needs to provide literacy training and professional development service to the government authority located in Washington, DC. – Provide comprehensive literacy expertise, training, professional development, family engagement, and coaching support services that will support the school’s educational mission and its comprehensive literacy state development grant work.– Science of reading and structured literacy expertise; training, professional development, and coaching support; family engagement and training expertise; and long–term planning and school improvement support.– Professional development for leaders provide evidence–based leadership Coaching and explicit professional development to leaders– Professional development for teachers provide high–quality, on–going, job–embedded professional development for teachers and other specialists.– Family engagement provide training directly to families; provide coaching to leaders and teachers around family engagement issues.
