Description
The City of Banning is requesting proposals (RFP) from firms to provide Environmental Monitoring Services during the construction phase of the Sun Lakes Boulevard Extension Project. The purpose of this RFP is to retain a highly qualified environmental monitoring consultant to ensure compliance with all environmental permits, commitments, and regulations. The monitor will act as the on-site authority to protect identified resources and respond to inadvertent discoveries. The scope will consist of general monitoring protocol and specific mitigation measure monitoring such as Crotchii Bumble Bee (Bombus Crotchii) Habitat, Vegetation Clearance and Pre-Construction Bird Nesting Survey, Inadvertent Discoveries Monitoring and Fossil Discoveries. The City anticipates selecting one firm to perform the services. Proposals are requested from Companies that have a demonstrated ability to perform the tasks identified in this Request for Proposal (“RFP”).
