PROJECT NO. 1008513 Embarcadero West Rail Safety Project Near-Term Improvements (NTI) The Embarcadero West Rail Safety Project – Near-Term Improvements (NTI) consists of proposed signage and striping improvements along Embarcadero West and at 8 at-grade railroad crossings within the vicinity of Jack London Square that were recommended by the diagnostic team during the site diagnostics performed in 2024.The selected contractor will be expected to complete the following during the construction of the project: Develop a traffic control plan. Comply with Union Pacific Railroad flagging requirements for work within 25 feet of railroad tracks.
