M.C. Blanchard Court AV - Sole Source

Escambia County and the First Judicial Circuit seek a vendor to update their audio-visual systems in three standard courtrooms located within the M.C. Blanchard Building, 190 Government Street, Pensacola, Florida. We seek a vendor with demonstrated success in delivering similar projects at the Escambia County Courthouse, ensuring continuity of service and smooth integration with existing systems. The selected vendor will be responsible for the overall system design, including all components, hardware, cables, terminations, connectors, and any other parts needed to deliver a fully functional system. The vendor will also manage all Q-sys and WolfVision Cynap programming required to control the audio-visual solution. Upon completion, testing, and acceptance of the system, the County and Court will become the owners of all software source codes, touch panel design software, and any other items relevant to this upgrade. As-built drawings in PDF format are required upon project completion. The vendor will provide a sole point of contact for the Court to ensure continuity in communication and service delivery. 1.1 Purpose To obtain a qualified vendor to design, provide, and install three courtroom audio/visual systems. The final design and implementation should deliver a turnkey solution, encompassing design, procurement, installation, testing, and deployment of a cost-effective, state-of-the-art audio/visual system. Prior experience with similar courtroom systems and an understanding of our specific operational needs are critical, as we prioritize continuity of service with a vendor familiar with our courtroom operational environment and existing infrastructure. 1.2 Scope The contractor will provide all relevant audio, video, and automation hardware and software for this design. This project involves the removal of the existing system, including racked equipment and outdated components from the courtrooms. To ensure system and operational consistency, we seek a vendor capable of reproducing the fit and functionality of existing courtrooms. The design should not include proprietary components unless approved by the Court. The contractor will provide comprehensive documentation, including as-built drawings, reflecting all hardware, component placement, and wiring upon completion of the installation.
