Vendor needs to provide traffic Modeling and analysis services to the government authority located in Marshfield, WI.– project are to improve traffic safety, improve traffic flow efficiency, and reduce carbon emissions.– The study will include data collection, signal warrant analysis, signal timing and phasing analysis, progression analysis, recommendations for progression and hardware improvements, timing implementation, hardware project prioritization, a final report documenting the results, and a presentation.– Respondents are invited to recommend alternative approaches to this project that will result in a better end product.– Data collection:– Traffic counts shall include pedestrian counts, bicycle counts, and vehicle classification.– Signal timing and phasing plans and progression analysis:– Consultant shall develop optimized signal timing and phasing plans using industry–standard traffic operations analysis methods and software consistent with applicable guidance, the current manual on uniform traffic control.– Traffic engineering analysis:– Consultant shall identify deficiencies in the existing signal equipment, lane assignment and configurations, and roadway geometry or signal phasing that would provide better safety and/or operational Devices, and the Highway Capacity Manual, as applicable.
