(1) Vendor needs to provide state governmental relations and lobbying services.• Provide state governmental relations and lobbying services to advance the County’s legislative, policy, regulatory, funding, and other governmental priorities.• Provide the professional expertise, advocacy, strategic guidance, and ongoing governmental relations support necessary to effectively represent the Agency.• Services shall include, but are not limited to, advocating for County legislative, policy,regulatory, funding, and project priorities; developing and maintaining relationships with State legislators, legislative staff, State agency officials, and other stakeholders; and developing partnerships with constitutional officers, special districts, governmental entities, and other organizations when such partnerships may advance County priorities.• Assist the County in identifying and prioritizing legislative, funding, and policy objectives.• Develop and implement advocacy strategies, including identification of legislative sponsors, agency contacts, stakeholders, and other partners necessary to advance County priorities.• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with County staff, which may be conducted virtually or in person.• Provide recommendations and status updates regarding County priorities.• Prepare and review formal correspondence, technical comments, policy statements, advocacy materials, and other written communications supporting County legislative and regulatory priorities.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 12, 2026.
