FIRE-1859 - USA (Chesapeake, Virginia) - Fire Apparatus Aerial Inspection and Testing Services - Deadline September 2,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide fire apparatus aerial inspection and testing services to the government authority located in Chesapeake, VA.– The Agency is seeking qualified vendors to provide aerial apparatus inspection, testing, and certification services for its fire fleet.– Services include comprehensive visual, operational, and non–destructive testing, along with detailed reporting, certification, and clear identification of deficiencies categorized as required or recommended repairs.– The selected Contractor must demonstrate proven experience, qualified personnel, and the ability to perform consistent, high–quality inspections while supporting the City’s operational needs without disruption to emergency services.– Visual and Operational Inspection– The Contractor shall perform a complete visual and operational inspection of the aerial device, including but not limited to:• Structural components, including boom, pedestal, and turntable• Hydraulic systems, including hoses, cylinders, and fittings• Electrical systems and controls• Waterway system, where applicable• Identification of damage, wear, leaks, and loose or missing components(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 25, 2026.
