MRB-56231 - USA (Hawaii) - RFI for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Outreach Services - Deadline August 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide supplemental nutrition assistance program outreach services.– Outreach efforts will be conducted state–wide, covering all islands, with a focus on reaching underserved populations and addressing barriers to access.• The state agency has defined that outreach efforts should focus on priority populations, including but not limited to:– Families with minor children– Unemployed or under–employed households– Individuals who are elderly, disabled, or immobile– Veterans– Homeless or houseless individuals– Residents of rural areas– Conducting monthly SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) informational activities to increase awareness of program availability, eligibility requirements, application procedures, and benefits.a. State sponsored informational events as scheduled, the state agency will require SNAPoutreach providers to assist with community events to engage with potential SNAP eligiblehouseholds.– One on one informational meetings contracted providers may choose to engage in moreinformal meetings to meet with individuals to provide similar services as listed above– Assisting with the collection and submissions of verification documents– Providing follow–up support such as application, recertification, and six–month report remindersand other activities to ensure continued program access(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 5, 2026.
