Website Design and Development Services (RFP #2022-03)

SACOG is seeking consultant services to redesign, develop, and maintain its website. The current website was first developed in 2015, and SACOG recognizes that much has changed including technology, and the way staff, members, and web visitors work. The agency’s website audiences consist of internal staff, SACOG’s board of directors, elected officials within the six-county Sacramento region, city and county staff, partners, advocates, leaders in transportation, environment, land use, and the general public. The website is the agency’s most used resource for audiences. SACOG’s goal is to create a website that serves as a source of information and increases transparency to help audiences understand and engage with the work being done at the agency. SACOG is seeking a consultant who is a partner in the design and development process, who can analyze how audiences use SACOG's website and propose innovative solutions that help bolster the utility of the website. The consultant shall be familiar with applicable State and Federal requirements concerning public agency websites, including the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) website accessibility requirements.
