THE PROJECT MANAGEMENT OFFICE SINDH BARRAGES IMPROVEMENT PROJECT IRRIGATION DEPARTMENT, GOVERNMENT OF SINDH REQUEST FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (INDIVIDUAL CONSULTANT) (Ref: No. PK-AFOF SBIP -494018-CS-INDV ) The Project Management Office, Sindh Barrages Improvement Project funded by the World Bank and being implemented by the Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh, intends to hire an eligible, motivated and dynamic Professional as Individual Consultant for the following position through a competitive process. S. No Position No. of Posts Qualification & Experience 01 Flow Measurement Specialist 01 Education Bachelor's Degree: Civil engineering/ Water resources and hydraulics is essential. Specific areas of study within engineering may include hydrology, water resources. Master's Degree: Advanced degrees can specialize in areas Water Resources Irrigation and hydraulics, hydrology, providing deeper knowledge and analytical skills. Skills and Qualifications Field Measurement Techniques Knowledge of different flow measurement methods (e.g., current meters, Acoustic Doppler Current Profilers - ADCPs), including proper calibration and use of equipment and related experience should at least 15 to 20 years. Selections shall be made in accordance with the method contained in World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers, Revised Edition of September 2023 . Only short listed candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be admissible for attending the interview. The job shall be assigned initially for one year on contract basis on the recommendations of Consultant Selection Committee, Constituted by the Irrigation Department, Government of Sindh.
