Description

Project Description: This project rehabilitates the existing 4th Ave S over ARGO Bridge pier corbels using a 77 day full closure of the bridge. Work involves crack injection, concrete spall repair, Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer strengthening, partial demolition of select corbels, increasing the depth of the concrete overhangs using new reinforced concrete connected to the existing concrete using dowels, additional of external post-tensioning, and replacement of expansion joints. Temporary traffic control and channelization will be required. For the purpose of the Bidder/Subcontractor List, this project includes Rebar Installation and Structural Steel Installation. Engineer's Estimate: $6,700,000 to $7,000,000 Project Location: Industrial District along 4th Avenue South over the ARGO Yard; north of S Dawson St and south of S Industrial Way.
