Acquisition of Four Wheel Drive, Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV)

The Monterey Peninsula Regional Park District (MPRPD) invites you to submit a Proposal for purchase of a new Four Wheel Drive, Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV). This vehicle will be used primarily by administrative staff on paved roads with occasional need to travel off road and on unpaved roads throughout District parklands. Specifications are attached and any deviations from the specifications should be clearly entered on the Proposal Form. Submit your Proposal on the enclosed Proposal Form no later than 2:00 PM – April 18, 2024. Proposals must be uploaded on the Districts online procurement site, https://procurement.opengov.com/portal/mprpd Proposers are required to state the maximum time necessary to deliver the SUV to the MPRPD on the Proposal Form, but in any case no later than June 30, 2024. If the SUV is not delivered within the time stated on the Proposal Form, MPRPD may terminate the purchase of the SUV by giving written notice. The proposer will not be responsible for any time delays caused by circumstances, which are reasonably beyond the proposer’s control. Complete instructions and conditions are contained in the enclosed “Information to Proposers." The SUV will be delivered to the MPRPD completely assembled, prepared and ready to operate with all equipment cataloged as standard by the manufacturer and included in the total Proposal price. The MPRPD is exempt from DMV fees, but local 7.75% sales tax is applicable.
