Supply and Delivery of Sodium Hypochlorite

Supply and Delivery of large and small quantities of Sodium Hypochlorite to multiple Water Reclamation facilities, Water Treatment facilities and Potable Well-Sites located in Hernando County, Florida. This material "Sodium Hypochlorite" is for the disinfection of potable water and treated wastewater plant effluent. The selected responses from bidders must demonstrate that the product meets the standards for potable water treatment detailed in the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF)/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard 60: Drinking Water Treatment Chemicals - Health Effects and American Water Works Association (AWWA)/American National Standards Institute (ANSI) Standard B301-18: Liquid Chlorine, the PRODUCT STANDARDS . The County intends to award multiple Vendor/Contractors by Delivery Group and may choose the same Vendor/Contractor for more than one (1) Group. The County reserves the right to make multiple awards to the lowest, responsive and responsible Bidders based on Delivery Group price . Vendors may elect to bid on Delivery Group A, Delivery Group B or Both. Requested supply and delivery consists of the following: Delivery Group A: Large Quantity Sodium Hypochlorite - Delivery of bulk Sodium Hypochlorite, estimated average of 5,000 gallons per week, to Water Reclamation and Water Treatment Facilities in Hernando County, Florida with facility storage tank capacities ranging from 1,000 to 5,400 gallons. Delivery Group B: Small Quantity Sodium Hypochlorite - Delivery of bulk Sodium Hypochlorite, estimated average of 2,500 gallons per week, to twelve (12) Potable Well-Sites within residential neighborhoods in Hernando County, Florida with facility storage tank capacities ranging from 165 to 1,500 gallons. Bidder MUST have the ability to navigate vehicles through residential streets and the ability to deliver Sodium Hypochlorite to tanks within fenced in areas at well-site locations. Offers for furnishing the above will be received and accepted up to 10:00 am , local time, Monday, July 1, 2024 , via the Hernando County Procurement Department eProcurement Portal . Only electronic submittals through the eProcurement portal shall be accepted by the County. The Board of County Commissioners of Hernando County, Florida, reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and waive informalities and minor irregularities in offers received in accordance with the Bid Documents and the Hernando County Procurement Ordinance.
