(1) Vendor needs to provide legal services to the government authority located in Topeka, KS.– Identify the types of cases and legal services for which they seek consideration and demonstrate relevant experience and capacity in those areas, including preparedness to go to trial as deemed appropriate.– Attorneys shall provide timely, competent, and cost–conscious legal representation.– Legal proceeding types.– Contract and procurement–related disputes.– Employment–related matters when representation from the Attorney General’s Office is unavailable.– Conduct appropriate factual and legal investigation of claims under the attorney–client privilege and provide written reports of the investigations and recommendations.– Conduct research and draft pleadings, motions, briefs, memoranda, correspondence, and other legal work products.– File and respond to motions and other pleadings.– Conduct appropriate discovery including e–discovery and document and privilege reviews and provide required written documentation.– Engage appropriate experts, consultants, and litigation support services.– Provide pre–litigation legal advice, analysis, and written recommendations.– Provide legal services in any other legal matters in which determines outside legal representation is necessary.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than October 16, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for three years.
