Description
The purpose of this Request for Proposals (“RFP”) is for the City of Pacifica (“City”) to solicit proposals from engineering design teams (“Proposers” or “Consultant”) to design and develop construction bid documents for replacement of an existing ultraviolet disinfection system sized to meet a peak hourly flow rate of 20 million gallons per day (“mgd”), replacing the existing Trojan UV4000 system. The work also includes but is not limited to: bid documents for pre-purchase or pre-selection of UV equipment; temporary disinfection system design to facilitate UV system replacement; permitting support work including support for the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”) document and a California Coastal Commissioning (“CCC”) Coastal Development Permit (“CDP”) for a new electrical building; funding assistance; and support services during the bid phase.
