(1) Vendor needs to provide specialized accounting services to the government authority located in Kodiak, AK. • Prepare the accounting records and supporting documentation for the annual independent audit, including the single audit, and will serve as technical between finance staff and the independent auditor.• Year–end close support, including review of the general ledger, account reconciliations, and proposed adjusting journal entries for governmental funds and enterprises.• Award–level reconciliations of revenue, expenditures, receivables, and unearned revenue for each federal, state, and private award.• Preparation of auditor–requested schedules, including capital assets and depreciation schedules, accrued liabilities, interfund balances, leases, and debt, as applicable.• Coordination of enterprise financial information required for the financial reporting entity, and coordination with any separate audit or regulatory financial reporting required of the gaming enterprise• Regularly scheduled mentoring sessions, at least twice monthly, conducted remotely and built around the actual transactions and month–end work.• Month–end review checklists and reconciliation tools that staff can use independently, with workbook–embedded instructions where practical.• Quarterly progress reports to the finance director describing skills developed, procedures adopted, and remaining priorities.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than Nov 9, 2026.(3) The contract period will be for one year.
