(1) Vendor needs to provide publication and editorial management service.• Provide, to the satisfaction of the County, publication management services until the completion of contract.• Report to the County Parks Director or his/her designee.• Begin work within two (2) working days after receipt of written direction from the County to proceed.• Meet all publication deadlines as outlined by the County.• Stop work promptly, if so directed in writing by the County.• Act as a liaison to third party vendors to secure printing and mailing quotes.• Submit final invoice for services to the County within 14 calendar days after contract time is stopped.• Maintain a spreadsheet of contacts for potential advertisers, current advertisers, and arts/culture organizations with potential interest in listing events.• Recruit and sell to new advertisers.• Solicit listings from Essex based arts and cultural organizations and businesses.• Write feature articles at the direction of the County designee• Draft all park/county facility content for inclusion• Aggregate all edits and provide to design team• Proofread content and drafts for grammar, spelling, and accuracy• Maintain and update a mailing list of subscribers• Maintain and update an email list of digital subscribers• Gather quotes for printing and mailing for each issue• Schedule delivery of overages to county facility• Update and maintain cultural affairs web calendar with event listings• Provide web ready digital issues for the parks website(2) The contract period will be for one year.
