School Security Services

Statement of Purpose It is the intent of the Scranton School District (the “District”) to secure proposals for armed non-sworn uniformed school security officers (“SSOs”) at the Scranton Junior Senior High School (Grades 7-12), West Scranton High School (Grades 9-12), South Scranton Intermediate (Grades 5-8), West Scranton Intermediate (Grades 5-8), Northeast Scranton Intermediate Schools (Grade 5-8), ten (10) Scranton School District elementary schools (Grades K-4) and one alternative education / special education program (Grades K-12) or at any other District facility as needed and as directed by the District Administration. Contract Term The Contract shall commence on July 1, 2025, and run for a 36-month term, expiring June 30, 2028. Expected start dates of security officers may vary and be after July 1st, 2025 based on our 2025-2026 school calendar and activities / events over the summer.
