Description

It is the intent of Alachua County to solicit Bids for qualified fire equipment servicing businesses who are duly registered and licensed in the State of Florida to render periodic inspections, testing, and maintenance services of fire protection systems and extinguishers in order to provide a safe environment for employees, clients and visitors to the offices, buildings and/ or grounds of various County locations. This work includes testing fire alarm panels, stand pipes, fire pumps, sprinklers, suppression systems, and extinguishers. All work shall be in accordance with appropriate standards, codes, and statutes. The successful bidder shall perform routine inspections, periodic maintenance, and additional testsasks as needed.
