Vendor needs to provide unified communications and telephone system technology refresh service to the government authority located in Butte, MT.– To modernize its existing enterprise telephone and unified communications environment.– This project is to replace aging and unsupported endpoint hardware, modernize the underlying call–control infrastructure, enhance unified communications capabilities, transition legacy carrier services to SIP–based services, improve call reporting and records preservation, and assist agency in meeting applicable emergency–calling requirements.• Replace approximately 380 legacy IP desk phones with current–generation supported devices. • Provide appropriate unified communications licensing for approximately 380 users. • Provide desktop and softphone functionality for applicable users. • Provide mobile and remote–work functionality for designated users. • Migrate existing legacy physical telephone system servers/controllers to a supported virtualized environment. • Transition existing agency–based agency connectivity to SIP trunking. • Preserve existing telephone numbers and calling functionality. • Provide enhanced call reporting and call–record retention capabilities. • Assist agency with emergency calling and dispatchable–location requirements, including agency Act and applicable E911 requirements. • Maintain or improve system availability, security, manageability, and resiliency. • Minimize disruption to County operations during implementation.• Assessment and Project Planning• IP Telephone Endpoint Refresh• Unified Communications Licensing• Call–Control Server Virtualization• SIP Trunk Migration• Emergency Calling / E911• Call Reporting and Records Preservation• Security• System Resiliency and Business Continuity• Installation and Migration Services• Testing and Acceptance• Documentation
