SCS is seeking bids for a five-year WAN Contract with five, one-year optional extensions. The initial five-year contract would run from 7/1/2027-6/30/2032. This contract should offer a range in bandwidth for 22 sites from 1 Gbps (minimum) up to 10 Gbps, as well as a 10 Gbps(minimum) to 25 Gbps to the Central Office, increasable/decreasable as needed. All services should be fiber running all the way into the school/site. All sites must be operational by August 12, 2027 or Vendor will be responsible for covering cost to current service provider. Presently, we have 4 high schools and 4 middle schools with a 2.5 Gbps service. The remaining 12 sites operating at 1 Gbps. Our Central Office and Plant Ops currently has a 10 Gbps service. This contract must include the ability to increase/decrease capacity within these parameters during the term of the contract. SCS is requesting a speed price book to reflect these speeds and aid in future growth and budgetary planning. Contract should allow for closing and opening of additional sites as needed over the contract. This contract is to include all necessary equipment needed to provide this bandwidth service, setup and installation, all additional fees and taxes, and 24 hr monitoring and service to correct problems. Contract is dependent on Erate funding.
