(1) Vendor needs to provide fire training tower renovation service to the government authority located in Santa Clara, CA. • Review the Fire Training Tower Assessment provided to the agency to understand the original recommendations.• In addition to the recommendations from Attachment H, the design shall include a system that would allow the windows on the tower to be closed off to the elements and any smoke conditions produced inside to the design.• Evaluate and survey existing site and constraints, including access, site frontage, utilityconnections, topography, hazardous materials, etc.• Provide geotechnical report for site.• Provide Phase II environmental assessment for the site.• Include specifications and construction requirements for the proper handling, management, and disposal of demolished concrete materials at a permitted landfill or recycling facility capable of accepting concrete that may contain PFAS, in accordance with applicable federal best management practices and local disposal requirements.• Prepare cost estimates for each design submittal.• Support the City through all required permitting processes, including coordination with Building Official, Fire Department, regulatory agencies, utility companies, environmental authorities, and other applicable jurisdictions.• Provide procurement support services, including response to RFI, preparing addenda, evaluation of bids received, and providing a written recommendation for the award of contract, when requested.• Provide construction–phase support services, including review of submittals, responses(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 6, 2026.
