Vendor needs to provide veterans benefit management system. – Install and implement an established, fully operational web–hosted SAAS (software as a service) veterans’ benefits information system; including data conversion and migration, training, monthly system access subscription, technical support, and system maintenance.1. Record Creation and Update• Capability to create new veteran records and update existing records with detailed personal, service, and claims information.• Integration of data submitted directly by veterans through the customer facing portal.2. Customer–Facing Portal• Secure online access where veterans can submit and update personal information and eligibility documentation.• Ability to apply for and manage state benefits3. Document Management• Integration with enterprise document management systems to store, retrieve, and associate documents with veteran records, including those uploaded via the portal.4. Service Tracking• Monitor and record the various services availed by veterans, such as counseling, medical services, education benefits, and state program participation.• Automatically logs service activity initiated through the portal.5. Interaction History• Maintain a comprehensive log of all interactions with veterans, including communication history, service requests, portal submissions, and claim status updates.6. Compliance Monitoring• Track and ensure that all records and portal transactions comply with federal and state regulations, including data privacy, security, and accessibility requirements.7. Search and Reporting• Advanced search capabilities to quickly locate veteran records and generate reports based on various criteria.• Reporting on benefit utilization, application trends, service delivery metrics, and portal engagement.8. Role–Based Access Control• Secure access to veteran records based on user roles, ensuring that sensitive information is only available to authorized personnel.• Role–based permissions also govern what veterans can access and update through the portal.
