Vendor needs to provide seabed mapping, exploration and characterization services to the government authority located in Washington, DC.• Seabed mapping, exploration, and characterization offers an opportunity to diversify sources of critical minerals outside of existing chokepoints, support partners in responsibly developing their seabed mineral resources, and promote private sector (U.S. institution, company, or organization) investments that set the standard for operational excellence and effective environmental review.  • Conduct ocean mapping and seabed exploration and characterization activities in high–priority continental shelf areas to generate the scientific data governments need to evaluate private sector seabed minerals development applications.• Characterize seabed resources within continental shelf areas to provide governments with accurate, timely, high–quality data on the location, extent, and composition of mineral deposits, enabling informed and timely regulatory decision–making.• Conduct environmental studies to support responsible seabed mineral management, ensuring governments have the baseline environmental data necessary to assess private sector applications and meet applicable standards.• Strengthen government capacity to assess, approve, and oversee private sector seabed exploration applications, enabling partners to move forward quickly and effectively with resource management decisions.
