REQUEST FOR STATEMENT OF QUALIFICATIONS (RFSQ) - GRU CAPACITY EXPANSION ENGINEERING SERVICES

Gainesville Regional Utilities is seeking qualifications for professional engineering consulting services under guidelines set forth in the Florida Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA) per Florida Statute 287.055 to assist in the project development and engineering for the addition of: 1) Natural gas-powered firming generation capacity, 2) Battery Energy Storage System, 3) Associated master planning, and 4) Balance of plant and interconnection related services. Natural gas-powered firming generation technologies under consideration include Aeroderivative and Industrial Gas Turbines and Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE) fueled primarily by natural gas.
