LEGAL-17535 - USA (Visalia, California) - State Legislative Lobbying Services - Deadline September 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide state legislative lobbying services to the government authority located in Visalia, CA.– The primary responsibilities of the selected consultant will include, but not be limited to:• Monitor bills introduced in the legislature and inform the City in a timely manner on legislation which could have an impact on the City• Assist in proposing changes to pending legislation• Assist the City in efforts in influencing legislation and in seeking and capturing revenues which are available to local government through the State government• Arrange meetings with legislative and administrative department officials and staff when necessary to deal with issues important to the City• Assistance in advocating for continued appropriation of funding at the state level and provide assistance for funding requests, either by competitive applications or allocations, and• Other advocacy services as requested by the City• Legislation for affordable housing and to address homelessness• Legislation related to maintaining environmental quality and quality of life• Restrictions on development/regulation of land use• Changes/proposed changes to agency• Legislation that promotes economic development and job growth at the local level• Public works and transportation funding• Matters involving water quality, availability and/or water treatment (2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 2, 2026.(4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on August 25, 2026.
