(1) Vendor needs to provide research security consultant services to the government authority located in Lexington, KY.– Provide a strategic roadmap for strengthening institutional processes, governance, compliance practices, training, and oversight capabilities in alignment with evolving federal requirements.– Conduct a comprehensive assessment of existing research security program, policies, procedures, governance structures, and operational practices.– Identify research security risks, compliance gaps, and areas for process improvement across research, academic, administrative, and business functions.– Evaluate the effectiveness of current workflows, reporting mechanisms, communication channels, and compliance resources.– Provide recommendations for enhancing program maturity, governance, staffing, policies, operational processes, training programs, and technology–enabled oversight tools.– Conduct interviews with key stakeholders, including research administration personnel, compliance officials, information technology staff, faculty researchers, academic leadership, and other university representatives involved in research security activities.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 14,2026.
