(1) Vendor needs to provide historical properties survey and archaeological investigation services to the government authority located in New Jersey. – Phase 1 Archaeological Survey and Grounds Investigation• Conduct a Phase 1a and 1b archaeological survey of the subject property.• Fieldwork shall include archaeological digging and subsurface testing to identify cultural deposits, if any.• Document findings with appropriate mapping, photographs, and field notes.• No survey work is required in the basement of the homes.– Historic Structure Condition and Relevance Assessment• Despite the Blue Acres mission to buyout and demolition flood prone homes to create open space, the program when directed under Section 106 must assess the structural condition of the five homes to determine whether the building could be successfully relocated without collapse assuming a local partner had the resources to do so in a timely manner and the home is structurally unsound.• Evaluate the historic significance of the structure as it exists today, with attention to alterations and modifications made over time.• Document notable architectural features, including any salvageable materials such as floorboards and decorative moldings that carry historic importance.– Supporting Documentation for Application for Project Authorization to Historic Sites Council(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 1, 2026.
