(1) Vendor needs to provide insurance broker services to the government authority located in South Carolina.– Broker will perform all marketing, placement, and other related services– Professional advice and consultation.– Identifying appropriate marketing and underwriting information to be submitted to potential insurers and related service companies.– Provide highly competitive risk financing options for excess public official liability insurance from market sources after consultation with, and approval by, regarding sources to be approached to provide the excess public official liability insurance policies.– Provide the public officials liability insurance and risk financing structures. – Provide a comparison of all proposals received, including multi–year coverage options, premiums, coverage conditions and liability and peril exclusions.– Assist as advisor, advocate and administrative coordinator regarding actual and potential claims submitted to insurers providing policies.(2) The contract period will be for one year.
