Vendor needs to provide alpha spectroscopy lab services to the government authority located in Springfield, IL. – To conduct alpha spectroscopy analysis on soil samples collected as part of a uranium and thorium contamination investigation. – Two separate samples will be collected from approximately 50 locations involved in the investigation and approximately 5 background locations. • Sample receipt/chain of custody documentation provided • Sample analysis – alpha spectroscopy analysis to determine the concentration of radionuclides discussed above. • Analytical report and/or certificate of analysis provided • Quality Control documentation provided • Disposal of residual sample materials
