REQUEST FOR EXPRESSIONS OF INTEREST Country: Republic of Tajikistan Project: One Health for Pandemic Prevention Food Systems Resilience and Ecosystem Health in Central Asia Grant No.: E452-TJ Assignment Title: Project Assistant Reference No .: OHP/CS/INDV-2026/01 1. The Republic of Tajikistan has received financing from the International Development Association and International Bank for Reconstruction and Development toward the cost of the One Health for Pandemic Prevention Food Systems Resilience and Ecosystem Health in Central Asia and intends to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services. 2. Qualification requirements for candidates are as follow: - University degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Management, International Relations, Social Sciences, or other relevant fields; - At least two (2) years of relevant professional experience in project support, administration, coordination, operation, accounting or office management with government institutions or private sectors organizations; - Strong organizational and communication skills; - Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment; - Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to coordinate effectively with various stakeholders; - Good written and verbal communication skills in Tajik and Russian languages knowledge of English is an advantage. The State Institution “Agriculture Entrepreneurship Development” Project Management Unit now invites eligible specialists to indicate their interest in providing the services. Interested specialists must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services. 4. The attention of interested candidates is drawn to Section III, paragraphs, 3.14, 3.16, and 3.17 of the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers” (July 2016, revised in February 2025) - Procurement in Investment Project Financing Goods, Works, Non-Consulting and Consulting Services (“Procurement Regulations”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. 5. The selection will follow Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultants in accordance with Section VI, paragraphs, 7.36 and 7.37 of Procurement Regulations. 6. Interested candidates should submit a cover letter (maximum two pages) and a detailed CV (maximum five pages) clearly outlining how they meet the required qualifications.
