In accordance with the specifications listed herein, the City of New Smyrna Beach (herein after, “City”) has issued this Request for Proposals (hereinafter, “RFP”) for an 'Project Title for the City of New Smyrna Beach Sports Complex. Responses to the RFP shall include a thirty-six (36) month lease option, a forty-eight (48) lease option, and/or an option to outright purchase. At its sole discretion, the City shall select the option that is the most advantageous to the city. Lease options will result in a contract whereas the purchase option will result in a city issued purchase order. Lease Options: Although pricing is a very important unit in the selection process other factors will be taken into consideration in delivering the best value to the City. An Evaluation Committee will independently review and score each proposal. If an award is made it shall be made to the highest rank proposer whose proposal is most advantageous to the City, taking into consideration the evaluation factors set forth in this RFP. The City shall not use any other factors or criteria in the evaluation of the proposals received. The successful proposer will hereinafter be referred to as the "Vendor" and must meet or exceed all terms, conditions and specifications of the CITY. The term of this contract shall begin on the date the contract is approved by the City of New Smyrna Beach, City Commission (herein after, the “Commission”), signed by all required parties and filed with the City Clerk. The term of the contract shall be three (3) or four (4) years, whichever is the most advantageous for the City, from the effective date. Outright Purchase Option: The stated fee to purchase the requested equipment shall include all costs. There shall be no hidden costs associated with this request. Full disclosure of nature and amount of all fees and charges is mandatory. If the purchase option is selected, a city issued purchase order will be processed to include FOB Destination.
